Hello friends! My name is Egg Yolk or 蛋黃 (dànhuáng), the heart and soul behind the name. I was born on December 31st, 2012, making me the "Grandpa" of the lounge. I was surrendered with my housemate Guozi (果子). I've seen it all, and even after losing a few teeth along the way (the dentist says I was very brave!), my spirit stayed as vibrant as ever.

If you visited me during my time at the lounge, you'll know my two favorite things: making the perfect "lap biscuits" and giving plenty of drooly sandpaper kisses. You also may have heard my 'motor engine' meow. I took my job as the welcoming committee very seriously!

Although I loved my home, it all became a bit too much for me to handle. I couldn't keep up with the kittens anymore! On October 6, 2025, I officially retired and moved into my very own forever home to enjoy my golden years. Even though I'm now napping in my own private sunbeam, this lounge  remain dedicated to me and the standard of love I demanded every day.
